| DAY 1: |

Depart Rome for Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, transfer to
Nazareth “the flower of Galilee”. |
| DAY 2: |
Nazareth |

Start the day visiting the Sanctuary on Mount of the
Beatitudes (where Jesus had the Sermon on the Mount).
Continue to visit Tabgha (Heptabagon), site Primacy of
Peter and of the multiplication of the loaves and the
fish and Capernaum, ancient synagogue and home of Simon
Peter. After sailing on Lake Tiberias, return to Nazareth
and visit the Church of the Annunciation, the New Basilica
and the Church of St. Joseph. |
| DAY 3: |

Depart towards Sheik Hussein Bridge and enter in Jordan.
Visit the ancient roman city of Jerash: the Temple of
Zeus; the Forum; the South Theatre; the Cardo Maximus;
the temple of Artemis. Proceed to Petra, wonderful city
of Nabataean civilization, completely excavated in the
rock. |
| DAY 4: |
Petra |

Visit the archeological site, accessible just through
a crack in the mountain known as Siq. Depart for Amman,
capital city of Jordan. |
| DAY 5: |
Amman |
| |
Depart for Mount Nebo, the highest point of Moabite
range, described by the biblical texts as the place where
Moses died and was buried. Stop at the Franciscan Church
for a view of the Promised Land. Cross the Allenby Bridge,
enter in Israel and proceed to Jerusalem; en route stop
in Jericho, the most ancient city known today. |
| DAY 6: |
Jerusalem |

Drive to Bethlehem and visit: the Church of the Nativity
and the grotto where Jesus was born; the Grotto of St.
Jerome; the Shepherds’ Field where the angels announced
the birth of the Saviour. Return to Jerusalem and visit:
the Church of the Last Supper; the Dormition Abbey; the
Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu; the Walling Wall. |
| DAY 7: |
Jerusalem |

Visit: Mt. of Olives; the Garden of Gethsemane; the
Basilica of the Agony; Church of Pater Noster; the Dominus
Flevit Church; the Tomb of the Virgin Mary; the Church
of Saint Anne; the Pool of Bethesaida; the Chapel of Flagellation;
the Arch of “Ecce Homo”. Participate in the
Station of the Cross along the “Via Dolorosa”
to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. |
| DAY 8: |
Jerusalem |

Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for return flight to Rome.
